Ms. Schmearer reports that she has just finished her last chemo treatment for her breast cancer. She celebrated with her sister and her nurses. There was cake, gifts, and a gingerale toast. The next step will be the planned surgery on April 3rd followed by radiation treatments. She is in a happy space right now because her doctors have told her that because they caught things early they consider her cured.

She appreciates all of the letters, cards, gifts, and emails that she has received. And she is looking forward to coming in for a visit as soon as the flu stops hanging around Mahoney.
