Sports News:
Practice TODAY!! That’s right, boys, practice TODAY!! Mahoney will run against King and Saco this Saturday at 8:00 a.m. at the Portland Expo. See Mr. Towle if you have questions about track.
Mahoney has one other runner who has completed his 100 miles! Congratulations to Arman Mohammad joining Tom Redstone in leading this year’s Century Club. Congratulations Arman!
South Portland National Little League registration will be held tonight, February 28th at 8:00 p.m. at the South Portland Community Center.
South Portland Junior and Senior League baseball registration is tonight from 5-8 p.m. at the South Portland Community Center.
Music announcements:
The performance jazz band earned a “two” rating at the district festival yesterday. Soloists did an outstanding job including Sam Redstone, Lucas Ashbaugh, Matt Duranleau, Rachael Garneau, Connor Igo and Matt LaBerge. Congratulations to all! Special thank to Mrs. Gurnee and Mrs. Rioux for all their help.
7/8 Honors Band will rehearse today after school for the final time. This is a mandatory rehearsal.
Color Guard rehearses today.
Training jazz will rehearse tomorrow and Friday morning.
6th grade honors will rehearse Friday after school.

South Portland National Little League registration will be held this Wednesday, February 28th at 8:00 p.m. at the South Portland Community Center. Info sheets may be picked up in the main office.

7th/8th grade honors band rehearses tomorrow after school.

Swim team: Practice has begun! Catch the bus numbered 12 out in the circle right after school.

Beginner band will not meet today: Performance jazz will meet in the auditorium beginning at 2:20. Performance jazz will also rehearse tomorrow morning; the District Jazz festival is tomorrow!
7/8 honors band meets Wednesday after school from 2:20-3:10.
Training jazz will meet Thursday and Friday morning this week.
