A big thank you to everyone in the Mahoney community for being willing to participate in our Civil Rights Day activities yesterday and to learn about people and ideas that may be different from your own. Your openness and willingness to listen and learn are much appreciated! Thank you to all Connections Advisors for helping make this happen.
Today we will run our Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule. Just pretend it is one of those days and you’ll be fine!
The ROLE program continues today after school. Participants, please be ready in room 114 as soon as possible after school! Student-athletes, your coaches know you will not be at practice tomorrow!
The library will continue with give-aways. Each time you check out a book, your name will be entered in the drawing!
Sports Notes
All teams will practice this afternoon. Please ask your coach about the game/meet schedule this week, or visit the middle school sports website at https://sites.google.com/site/spmiddleschoolathletics/
Baseball players, please bring your $10 for your hat this afternoon. If you need to call home, please get permission from your teacher to come use the office phone!
Music Notes
Performance Jazz will rehearse again Friday mornings, NOT Spring Jazz. We are preparing for the talent show this Friday!
All music students, it’s time to get all music booster scholarship forms in by THIS FRIDAY, April 29. See Mrs. Barry with any questions.
Color Guard will practice Friday after school. Our rehearsals will be on Tuesdays and Fridays until the parade. New members are encouraged until the end of this week!
Rappelling Band will rehearse Thursday this week before school at 7:15 a.m.. We’ll meet in the auditorium.
All band members are reminded of the two performance notices that went home before vacation. See Mrs. Barry with questions.
