Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Just a reminder, phones should be turned off and either in your locker or bag for the entire day!
Mahoney’s participation in the Nationwide Kindness Challenge continues this week! Thanks to Mahoney’s student council, there is another great activity going on this week. Kindness rocks are cool! See a student council member or Ms. Schmearer with any questions. And keep those kindness slips out and don’t hesitate to recognize kindness that you see!
Homework Club runs today and will run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.

Students, please be reminded that bags and iPads should not be brought into the cafe at breakfast or lunch. Also, all food and drink, other than water, needs to be finish and disposed of prior to heading to class.
All students who have PE - remember to bring warm clothes as classes will still be heading outside!

Today for media studies in the library we will be exploring intertextuality in the Netflix series Stranger Things with 80s pop culture bingo during workshop in the library. Talk to Ms. Gartley in the library for more info.
