Basketball Pictures are this afternoon, as a result the practice schedule is abbreviated today:
8th grade boys - 3:30-4:30
7th grade girls - 4:30-5:30
8th grade girls - 5:30-6:30
8th grade boys - 6:30-7:30
Swimming and Indoor Track sign ups are outside the main office. An updated physical and signed contract must be on file to participate.
The past couple of years the PTA have asked students to sell Yankee Candle items in order to raise money. This year we have decided to do a 'No Frills' fundraiser. Many of you may be familiar with this idea. Instead of asking families to buy and sell items, we are looking for families to simply make a donation. Please click here for the details. As with any fundraiser, we thank you very much for your support!
Homework Club runs from 2:30-3:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school to get help from staff members. Each day there are 2 adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 7:50. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.
The chill in the air inside is an indication that cold weather is here. Please remember that students are expected to stay outside until the 7:35 bell rings. They should dress warmly or plan to arrive after 7:35.

There will be a drama rehearsal today after school.
There will be IW for grades 6 and 7 today.

7th grade boys dropped a tough one to Bonny Eagle 45-44.
Joey Perron lead the Raiders with 20 points and Owen Maloney had 15

Don’t forget, basketball team pictures are immediately after school in the gym.
Students, just a reminder that our first semester is almost over. If your Related Arts classes are changing make sure to get all your work completed. Touch base with your teachers if you have any questions or concerns.
Attention Civil Rights Team members: There will be a brief meeting Thursday morning in room 111. Plan to arrive at 7:15 to discuss the distribution of the Pinwheels for Peace!
Students, remember no throwing, fooling around with snow outside on school grounds. Too many cars and people around for this to be safe.
The Mahoney Idea Lab is preparing for a new session. If you have an idea, a question, or a passion project, pick up a form in the library and return your proposal to Ms. Gartley by Friday, January 20.

*6th Honors Band members we will have rehearsal this week today, Tuesday, after school.
*7 and 8 Honors Band members, we will rehearse Thursday this week after school.
*Training Jazz will meet Thursday morning. New members welcome!
*Performance Jazz will rehearse Tuesday and Friday mornings, starting at 7:15 a.m.
