All students should have received their First Day Paperwork today. Please do you best to fill out the required forms and have these returned ASAP. We thank you!
Rippleffect:
For those that are in the program there is a parent meeting Thursday, 10/24, at 6:00 in our Library. Sessions start next week!
Mahoney Game Club:
The next meeting of the Game Club is Wednesday October 23, after school. This is a weekly drop-in club that is meant to be a spot for students to play different board games and card games with others, having fun and building social skills without a screen in front of them! Have an interested student? Have them stop by Mr. Risbara’s, room 106, to sign up."
MAHONEY SCHOOL DANCE:
Mahoney has a school dance this Friday. As a reminder this dance is for current Mahoney students; no students from other schools will be permitted.
Also, it is a costume dance but all will be required to lift their mask and show their face when entering the dance.
Sports:
Boys Soccer Home @ Mahoney. 7th grade at 3:45 and 8th grade at 5:00
Girls Soccer @ Falmouth. 2:50 bus, 7th grade at 3:45 and 8th grade at 5:00.
The Cross Country festival will be held on Friday this week due to the weather.

The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Attention musicians--it’s time for Training Jazz Band! We will start rehearsals THIS Thursday morning October 24th.. See Mrs. Barry for details and to sign up.
Performance Jazz will rehearse Friday morning.
All groups, please remember to sign in to homeroom first on morning rehearsal days!
A reminder to all 7th and 8th honors band and chorus musicians--auditions are Wednesday October 30th. That’s one week from today! Continue to practice and focus on your materials. Attending as many practices as possible is necessary. Good luck! Honors Band practices this week are Tuesday--today-- after school and Wednesday before school.

There will be a game club meeting this afternoon in Mr. Risbara’s room after school.
Please stay out of the bus loop! Especially after school--we want to keep everyone safe.
Yearbook meeting today in room 122, Mr. Patashnik’s room. Please remember to keep taking pictures!
Just a reminder, cell phones should be turned off and either in your locker for the entire day!
