Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Student Morning Announcements: Tuesday, January 22, 2019 Day 6
Just a reminder that this week we are piloting a new schedule - We will have bells ringing to signal the end of periods throughout most of the day. We are trying out a school-wide break beginning at 10:15. This is when snacks are eaten, bathroom breaks are taken, going to your locker to put away materials and get ones that you need. All students should stay in their respective grade level wings during this time unless you are heading to the bathroom. Teachers, thank you for your help with supervision during this time.
Homework Club runs today and will run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting..
