All students should have received their First Day Paperwork today. Please do you best to fill out the required forms and have these returned ASAP. We thank you!
Rippleffect:
Rippleffect is back at Mahoney for the fall. 7th and 8th graders can sign up for a spot; all spots are filled for this Fall, but we are taking completed applications for the wait-list! There will be Winter and Spring sessions of ROLE as well, if it didn’t work out this fall, there will be more opportunities.
Mahoney Game Club:
The next meeting of the Game Club is Wednesday October 14, after school. This is a weekly drop-in club that is meant to be a spot for students to play different board games and card games with others, having fun and building social skills without a screen in front of them! Have an interested student? Have them stop by Mr. Risbara’s, room 106, to sign up."
Sports:
Field Hockey Home @ Wainwright. 2:55 shuttle, 3:45 game start.
Tennis Home @ SPHS. 2:55 shuttle, 3:45 meet start.

The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

7th and 8th Honors Band audition rehearsal is today after school in room 201 and tomorrow, Wednesday, before school.
Attention musicians--it’s time for Training Jazz Band! We will start rehearsals THIS Thursday morning October 17th. See Mrs. Barry for details and to sign up.
Performance Jazz will rehearse Friday morning.
All groups, please remember to sign in to homeroom first on morning rehearsal days!

All Drama Students please stop by the Main Office and pick up a volunteer form if you haven’t already done so.
Please stay out of the bus loop! Especially after school--we want to keep everyone safe.
Just a reminder, cell phones should be turned off and either in your locker for the entire day!
Sports Notes:
The 8th grade boys tied 3-3 Thursday. Curtis Metcalf and Che-Hao Saito had a goal and an assist each. Tim Cauoette had an assist and Franklin Lindner had a goal. Ben Palson was excellent in goal, and Sam Scott anchored the defense.
Tonight’s sports:
Field Hockey has a Home game at Wainwright.
Tennis has a Home meet at SPHS. Both teams take the normal 2:55 shuttle.
