PARENT NOTES:
Ski Club: The first ski club outing is today (Tuesday, January, 8). The bus will leave Mahoney as close to 3:00 as possible and return approximately 9:15 this evening. When dropping off equipment we are using Room 12 as our storage room for the day; the ramp entrance will be unlocked during drop-off to make it easier to bring belongings to Room 12.
Yearbook: A reminder to yearbook staff twice a week meetings will start this week. Yearbook staff will meet Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

CHORUS:
Due to today’s delay, the chorus rehearsal will now be tomorrow morning. Student will now miss period 1-3 on Wednesday (day 5). The concert will stay as planned Wednesday at 7PM. Students arriving at 6PM dressed in black on bottom and white on top!

New England Music Camp information is available from Mrs. Barry in 201.
Performance Jazz will rehearse THURSDAY morning this week.
Training Jazz will NOT rehearse this week only.
7 and 8 honors band members will rehearse Monday after school.
Beginner Band will move to Tuesdays after school, starting today.

Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Due to the late arrival, students will attend their second related arts classes today.
The first ski club outing is this afternoon, we will leave as close to 3:00 as possible and return approximately 9:15. Bring all of your equipment to Room 12 if you haven’t done so already.

Homework Club runs today and will run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
