Concert notices are still due. The Mahoney Band concert is this Wednesday at the HS. All Mahoney community members are invited to attend.
Mrs. Barry is looking for some students to be on the tear down crew during the concert. See her to sign up.
7 and 8 Honors Band will have a practice offered this Tuesday after school. See Mrs. Barry about this.

Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

There will be IW for grades 7 and 8 this afternoon.

The results of the 6th grade dance theme survey show that 6th graders want a Candy Cane themed dance. So please wear the colors of your favorite candy cane ---red and white or green and white to our Dance on Friday December 14. The cost is $6 per person and the time is 6-8pm. We look forward to a very merry time for all!
Homework Club runs today and will run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.
Students, please be reminded that bags and iPads should not be brought into the cafe at breakfast or lunch. Also, all food and drink, other than water, needs to be finish and disposed of prior to heading to class.

Last night the 8th grade girls team keep their winning streak alive with a 23 point win over Lyman Moore.
The 8th grade boys also won last night against Lyman Moore by 30 points; Great all-around game for Ben Smith on the defensive side of the ball and offensively.

Concert notices are still due. The Mahoney Band concert is this Wednesday at the HS. All Mahoney community members are invited to attend. Student arrival is 6:20 p.m., the concert begins at 7!
