The past couple of years the PTA have asked students to sell Yankee Candle items in order to raise money. This year we have decided to do a 'No Frills' fundraiser. Many of you may be familiar with this idea. Instead of asking families to buy and sell items, we are looking for families to simply make a donation. Please click here for the details. As with any fundraiser, we thank you very much for your support!
The Fall Sports Season is over. Please help your student-athlete to return all uniforms.

Before I move onto the sports news, I want to share with the students that there were some concerns about the way the outside of the high school sports fields were left. While I know that it was not only Mahoney students that were playing around in the area behind the snack shack, I was very disappointed to see so much trash left behind. Like I say in the cafeteria, while the mess might not be all yours, please do not leave a mess for someone else to clean up.
Sports:
Our 8th grade field hockey team beat Portland 1-0. Mary Connolly scored the only goal and Emma Darling played great in goal. Congratulations to the whole team for ending the season with a win!
Our Mahoney Soccer teams performed well yesterday during what a chilly afternoon and an even chillier evening! Our 7th grade teams both beat Memorial 3-1. Our 8th grade teams played hard and while they put forth great effort, our boys lost 3-1 with the only goal being scored by Brandon Gonzalez.
8th grade girls soccer tied Memorial last night 2-2. Goals were scored by Koto Yamada and Evie Selser. Kate VonSeggern had an assist, while Grace Thayer and Avery Hamor were defensive players of the game. Great effort girls!
A great games were played by all!
