Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club will start next Monday and run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.
Would you like to set up a lunch account for your student? Does your student need more money on his/her account? Head to myschoolbucks.com to take care of this!
Green Team:
Mahoney's Environmental Club is called the Green Team, we meet on Tuesday afternoons, right after school in room 108, Mrs. Pitt's room.
Our first meeting is this week, today, if you can make it great, if not plan on attending next Tuesday the 18th.

Hey students! It’s not too late to sign up for Cross Country! And while there was a great group of students at the first practice yesterday, we are looking for some more girls. See Mr. Ouellet with any questions!
Anyone interested in participating in Drama there will be an informational meeting tomorrow after school in the auditorium.
Just a reminder, phones should be turned off and either in your locker or bag for the entire day!
And while you are storing your cell phone away, if you come across any of the first day paperwork, please get it to the main office ASAP. 7th and 8th graders need to turn in their iPad paperwork, as well!
And please do not run in the hallways. There have been some near accidents already this year.

Please note that Brown Elementary has asked for our students to not head over to visit when you get dismissed here. It can get confusing for the younger students and so the adults’ focus will be on the younger students. Thank you!
