Student Council will be meeting tomorrow morning, Wednesday, October 6th at 7:45 in Ms. Schmearer’s room, room 213. See you then!
Jazz Band will continue on Thursday! Stop by to get some music in room 203 today. You can get music before school, at the start of sectionals, or after school. Plan to arrive at school no later than 7:40 a.m. for a 7:45 a.m. start in the auditorium. This will be posted in your Band Classroom. All band members are invited!
All band sectionals will meet in the auditorium today--bring all needed materials to play, thank you!
A reminder from Ms. Brown, the Outdoor Club advisor--be sure to turn in your permission slip so you can join in on the bike outing this afternoon!
The Boys and Girls Club will be open all day Friday 10/8 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Students, when you arrive on school grounds after 8:10, please come right into the building. Thank you!
Students, charge your iPads each evening so they are ready for the day. Especially this week as students will be taking the NWEAs. Staff, thank you for taking your time, using the guide that Steve Koelker has provided. Any questions, please connect with the main office or Mr. Ouellet.
The Mahoney PTA is sponsoring a fun event right here at Mahoney on Saturday, October 16th from 2-4 and mark it on your calendars. There will be activities, delicious treats and lots of fun! Watch for more information as the date gets closer!

Everyone, this is a reminder about the importance of keeping your mask on, over your mouth and nose while in the building.
You need to be in your Connections room no later than 8:30. We had too many students coming in late this morning. Leave your home 5 minutes sooner and you will be all set!
Sports:
The 7th grade boys won 5-0 against Westbrook yesterday. Cam Willis scored a goal and Ollie Jenkins and Noah Kay each had two. Geno Elves had 3 assists while Jude Chaltray notched a shutout in goal.
8th Grade Boys Soccer also won this 2-1.. Alden Phillips and Casey Corcoran scored with Wylee Adams assisting on both. Ben Morin had a strong game anchoring the defense.
The girls soccer team lost to Wesbrook yesterday 2 to 0. As always the girls played very hard and represented Mahoney with great pride. Amelia Burton-Fowler was again outstanding in goal recording 19 saves.
