Loyal Companion is this Saturday 10-1 for our last Holiday Bow Tie sale! Hope to see you there!
Club Info:
Student Council will meet tomorrow morning, Wednesday, December 15th, at 7:45 in Ms. Schmearer’s room, room 213. New members are always welcome!
Homework Club is each week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-4. This is a great place to head after school to get some work done in a quiet place with a helpful adult.
There will be no Game Club meeting this week, our next meeting will be after the holiday break.
We will be calling all Mahoney Cross Country team members down to the area outside of the auditorium for a yearbook picture. You will be called out of Connections rooms at 8:45 via the office intercom.
DAILY:
Please remember NO SNOWBALLS on school grounds
Mahoney’s lost and found is located right outside the main office right next to the water fountain. There are a bunch of items both on top of and inside the red Mahoney box, if you’re missing something, check it out!
Students, when you arrive on school grounds after 8:10, please come right into the building. Thank you!
Students, charge your iPads each evening so they are ready for the day.
Students, have you checked your email lately? Please make sure you know how to access your school email, that you do check it daily--you never know what you might find!
Everyone, this is a reminder about the importance of keeping your mask on, over your mouth and nose while in the building.
You need to be in your Connections room no later than 8:30. We have had too many students coming in late. For many of you, leaving your home 10 minutes earlier and you will be all set!
News from the Library:
Book Clubs will be starting in January! Monthly meetings will be held during a lunch and movement period. For our first books, 8th graders will be reading The False Prince by Jennifer Nielsen, an exciting adventure full of intrigue and secret identities. The 7th grade book is Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, and you can choose either the novel or the graphic novel. Sixth graders will read Keep it Together Keiko Carter by Debbi Michiko Florence, a fun and honest story of friendship and crushes. See Ms. Blakemore in the library to sign up and get your book.
Ms. Blakemore is also looking for help with library displays and social media. If you’d like to help, sign up in the library. You will be drafted to come to the library during WINN on Friday.

Today is 8th grade Band. For all band students, we are recording this week! Read your message in Google Classroom!
