The Harlem Superstars are Returning to SPHS! Come for a night of basketball fun and support the Class of 2019. Our own Mr. Ouellet is among those taking on the Superstars! The game is November 9th at 6:30 in Beal Gym and tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets are available online and in the main office.

Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Just a reminder, phones should be turned off and either in your locker or bag for the entire day!
Mahoney’s participation in the Nationwide Kindness Challenge continues this week! Through using the yellow recognition slips this week, be mindful of who you might like to thank--a friend, teacher, cafeteria or custodial crew member. What a great way to make someone’s day!
Homework Club runs today and will run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting..
