Electronics Reminder - We are getting a little sloppy with cell phone use and unacceptable iPad use during the school day. Remember, cell phones NEED to be out of sight UNLESS you have teacher permission to use the phone. Remember, iPads are a district device that is intended for learning. If you are struggling to use the iPad appropriately, you will lose the privilege to use it.
Dress Code Reminders - Remember, hats and hoods are NOT to be worn in the building. Adults have been providing lots of reminders to students. It’s your job to remember that expectation and to follow through and not wear them in the building.
As the weather gets warmer people are inclined to challenge what is appropriate to wear at school. Remember, if you wouldn’t want to see Mrs. Stilphen or Mr. Donaldson in what you want to wear, you probably shouldn’t wear it!
Students, are you interested in helping to organize your end of the year assembly? We will meet during some of your lunch periods and you will be a part of recognizing your peers! Want more information? Ask Mrs. Stilphen. Stop by and sign up in the main office today!
Didn’t order a Yearbook yet? Don’t panic there is still time. For the next 2 weeks only bring $28.00 to Mr. Patashnik in room 122. Don’t wait, because the price goes up to $30.00 after this
Civil Rights Team Members - Please get your signed permission slip for the May 23rd State Conference back to the main office as soon as possible!
Sports Notes
Congratulations to the 8th grade boys lacrosse team who beat Kennebunk on Tuesday, with an impressive 10-3 victory. It was an excellent team win, with an outstanding offensive and defensive effort from all. Most importantly, the boys demonstrated great effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork throughout the entire game. The boys look to make it two in a row this Thursday when they host Bonney Eagle at Wainwright field.
Track athletes are reminded that next week they have meets on both Tuesday , at S.P.H.S, and on Thursday at Gorham
Students riding the shuttle to Wainwright, your driver, Jim, has requested that you not eat on the bus due to some messes that have been left on the bus. He also requests that you carry equipment in your hands so you have more control of it when getting on and off the bus. Thank you for being respectful of Jim and these requests.
