Tennis - Team pictures and practice @ SPHS Courts (2:30 bus) until 4:00 - Parent pick up
Field Hockey - 8th Grade Game @ Lyman Moore 3:30 Start time (2:30 Bus to Moore).
7th grade practice @ Wainwright (2:30 Bus to practice and 4:30 return bus).
All Soccer - Practices @ Mahoney until 4:00 - Parent pick up
Cross Country - Practice @ Mahoney until 4:00 - Parent pick up
R.O.L.E. (Rippleffect Outdoor Leadership Education) - The ROLE program is offered to 7th and 8th grade students from Maine middle schools and is designed to develop leadership, confidence, awareness and interpersonal skills through outdoor adventure programming. The ROLE program consists of 4, 2.5 hour after-school sessions, a long weekend to Cow Island and a culminating graduation ceremony. This program will have three offerings throughout the year, for this Fall session at Mahoney we will take the first 14 students who return the filled out paperwork. On this paperwork students can sign up for the current or for future sessions. For more information please have your student pick up a packet in the main office or click here.

Mahoney's Flu Clinic is October 18th at 10:00. Click here for more information and click here for the form to fill out to have your child get a flu shot at school. The completed form can be turned in to the main office at any time prior to the date of the clinic. Please contact Mahoney's school nurse, Jen Hayward, with any questions.
Student Morning Announcements:
Students: Please take care when riding your bikes and scooters on the green belt and on sidewalks. If there are walkers, you should walk your bike/scooter around the walkers and then get back on your bike. Walkers have the right a way on sidewalks and the greenbelt. Please represent Mahoney in a positive way!
7th and 8th grade Students, the first session of Rippleffect begins soon! Stop by the office to pick up information. We will be running 3 sessions this year. Are you up for the winter session?? There are only 14 slots available and the first session begins on October 26th.
Do you have a completed form for the Flu Clinic in the bottom of your backpack? If so, please bring it to the office.

*Thanks for those who attended the first jazz audition Tuesday. If you were absent, please see Mrs. Barry for the music and please attend our next rehearsal, this Friday morning.
*Beginner Band runs on Mondays immediately after school in room 201. Please see Mrs. Barry if you need an instrument or have any questions. Please bring your instrument, music and book.
*District One 7 and 8 Honors Band audition materials are ready---come and get them! We will start practice sessions next week--Tuesday after school and Wednesday morning before school. Please see Mrs. Barry if there are conflicts.

8th grade boys soccer lost to Bonny Eagle 4-0 yesterday. Ali Abad and Jacob Costin had strong games for the defense, and Frank Tierney made some excellent saves.
7th grade boys Soccer beat Bonny Eagle 5-1. Goals scored by Joey Perron, Kenny Carlisle and Serigne Mbow, assists by Joey Perron, Nic Boudreau and Cam Cloutier. Ben Hyland and Cam Cloutier played great in net for the Raiders!
8th grade Field Hockey is playing at Lyman Moore this afternoon, please listen to the 1:35 announcements for your bus number.
7th grade Field Hockey and all other sports teams will have practice as usual this afternoon.
