Sports Notes
Due to the Mahoney Band concert tonight, the Thursday basketball practice schedule has changed slightly.
8th grade boys practice at 3:00.
8th grade girls practice at 4:15.
No 7th grade girls or boys practice tonight.
Any student who wants to ride the van to the Boys and Girls club needs to pick up a form in the Main office.
Homework Club will start Monday and run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday 8:10-8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time. Would you like to set up a lunch account for your student? Do you know what the balance is on your student’s account? Head to myschoolbucks.com to take care of this!

There will be intervention workshop for grades 6 and 8.
Were you a part of Mahoney’s ski club last year? Interested in a pass to ski this year? Stop by the office to pick up your free pass!
Please remember that there should not be any snowball throwing/making/fighting on school grounds.
The PTA will be giving the girls bathroom a face lift during winter break...Please write down any thoughts, ideas, or quotes for them and drop them off in the office…...anything that will send a positive message.

Last night, the Mahoney 7th Grade boys improved to 5-0 with a 53-35 Win over SMC.
Petros Englehart lead the Raiders with 11 points and Luke Mehlhorn & Griffin Tetzlaff each had 10 points

There is no 7th grade boys or girls basketball practice today.

Today is the day, Mahoney Musicians! The concert is TONIGHT--you have worked hard, you are prepared. Now stay focused and think ahead to what you need to do today:
get your instrument home. We perform at the HS. Arrive by 6:20 pm. Review expectations about concert dress, where to go, and how to behave. Most importantly, demonstrate all you have learned and have a great concert!
Performance Jazz will rehearse Tuesday morning NEXT week.
Training Jazz will rehearse Friday morning TOMORROW this week. Please note the change.
