All students should have received their First Day Paperwork today. Please do you best to fill out the required forms and have these returned ASAP. We thank you!
Rippleffect:
Rippleffect is back at Mahoney for the fall. 7th and 8th graders can sign up for a spot; all spots are filled for this Fall, but we are taking completed applications for the wait-list! There will be Winter and Spring sessions of ROLE as well, if it didn’t work out this fall, there will be more opportunities.
Mahoney Game Club:
The next meeting of the Game Club is Wednesday October 14, after school. This is a weekly drop-in club that is meant to be a spot for students to play different board games and card games with others, having fun and building social skills without a screen in front of them! Have an interested student? Have them stop by Mr. Risbara’s, room 106, to sign up."
Mahoney’s first PTA meeting on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30 in room 11.
Mahoney’s PTA thanks you for your support during the upcoming Yankee Candle fundraiser. Who doesn’t need another candle (they have more than candles!) around the house?? While the paper version will be coming home this week, just click here to learn more and to view the many items to purchase electronically.

Girls Soccer @ Bonny Eagle. 2:55 bus, 7th grade at 3:45 and 8th grade at 5:00.
Field Hockey @ Portland (Dougherty Field). 2:55 bus, 3:45 game start.

The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

All Drama Students please stop by the Main Office and pick up a volunteer form.
There will be IW for grades 7 and 8 this afternoon.
Please stay out of the bus loop! Especially after school--we want to keep everyone safe.
Just a reminder, cell phones should be turned off and either in your locker for the entire day!
Sports Notes:
The 7th grade girls beat Memorial 6-0 last night. Olivia Bean scored a hatrick, Emmay Hoyt, Ninnon Eppich and Anya O’Donnell all scored. Anya also had an assist along with Emily Richards. Special thanks to Ryan Hillier and Ella Nickerson for learning our new sweeper position.
The 8th grade boys won 5-3 yesterday. Chris Keene, Che-Hao Saito, and Tim Cauoette scored, with Chase Doucette scoring twice. Tim and Chase each had assists while Che-Hao had two. Nathan Hanscombe and Ben Palson both played excellent games.
Tonight’s sports:
