Tennis at SPHS (2:30 bus) practice until 4:00 - parent pick up
Field Hockey at Wainwright (2:30 Bus) practice until 4:30 - bus pickup and return to Mahoney
ALL Soccer at Mahoney - practice until 4:00 - parent pickup
Cross Country at Mahoney - practice until 4:00 - parent pickup
Because of low numbers Field Hockey will be opened up to 6th grade girls, please see Mr. Ouellet for more information.
Please go through your student’s first day packet and fill out and return the necessary forms. THANK YOU!
The 8th grade is in need of chaperones and food for the first dance of the year!
Friday, Sept. 16 6-8 p.m. (parents arrive about 5:55, snack table volunteers around 5:55)
Need chaperones for the dance, people to man the snack table, and people to provide snacks, drinks, cups, and napkins.
Parents from all grade levels welcomed!

Student Morning Announcements:
Students, our first dance of the year will be held on Friday September 16, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the gym. We hope to see everyone there for this fun event!
Students, please do not visit Brown until 3:15
Music:
*The Jazz reading session was great Tuesday; thanks to all who attended. We’ll meet briefly on Friday to finish playing one song and enjoy a treat, as well as share our impressions of the music. Please let Mrs. Barry know if you can come--same time, same place!
*The South Portland High School Marching Band will host the first show of the season this Saturday, September 17th, at the HS. The show starts at 6 p.m. and all are invited. All band members, please remember we are asking for donated baked goods in support of the music program. Items can be brought in Friday before the end of the day, or delivered to the HS on Saturday in the afternoon. Thanks!
*Beginner Band will officially start on Monday September 19th immediately after school in room 201. Please see Mrs. Barry if you need an instrument or have any questions.
