Good Morning Mahoney students,
The JMG program is happy to announce that it’s starting a Mahoney chess club!! Interested students will be able to participate in a Blitz Chess tournament on Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. 5 minutes plus 3 seconds per move. Chess is a fast paced game where players only have 5 minutes to play their moves. To join, check the Mahoney website and follow the instructions. Every week we’ll announce the winners based off the points you get from winning or tying a game! If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Kozaka.
Breakfast and Lunch: We will continue to offer pick up of free breakfast and lunch at each school as we have done throughout the fall. Pick-up of meals is along the side ramp at Mahoney from 9:45-10:30 a.m. or at Brick Hill and Red Bank from 11:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m.
Breakfast: Breakfast Burrito, juice, fruit and milk
Lunch: Cheeseburger Sub, Potato Chips, Baby Carrots, Fresh Fruit and milk
Students, please get in the habit of checking your email everyday. You never know what you might find and/or learn!
Book Challenges prizes will be available during the afternoon Connections period.
Mrs Barry asks band members to check last week’s class stream and come get their treat today or Tuesday, before our next class Wednesday! Thanks
