Performance Jazz will be performing for the Senior Narratives project TODAY. Please wear your black Jazz T and khakis. All jazz members, please wait to be called to the auditorium, then arrive ready to set up quickly and perform.
Because of the narrative project, 7th grade band is asked to report to workshop today.
It’s time to sign up for the award-winning SPHS Marching Band! Come see Mrs. Barry for more information in Room 201.
It’s also time sign up for the Jazz Pizza Party! You must see Mrs. Barry by Friday if you are interested.
Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Mahoney's Environmental Club is called the Green Team, we meet on Tuesday afternoons, right after school in room 108, Mrs. Pitt's room.
