All Jazz rehearsals are now officially over. It’s also time sign up for the Jazz Pizza Party! You must see Mrs. Barry by today if you are interested.
The instrument repair man will be here for the last time this year today.
Students, it’s time to check out instruments or return them for the summer! Also please start planning to bring your instruments home for the summer.
Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.
Would you like to set up a lunch account for your student? Does your student need more money on his/her account? Head to myschoolbucks.com to take care of this!
Green Team:
Mahoney's Environmental Club is called the Green Team, we meet on Tuesday afternoons, right after school in room 108, Mrs. Pitt's room.

8th grade boys return your baseball jerseys to Mr. Heffernan a.s.a.p. If you have not already done so!
For any 8th grade girl interested in playing volleyball next year in high school there is an informational meeting June 11 at 6:00 in room B104.
7th and 8th grade softball and 7th grade boys LAX will have practice tonight to celebrate the end of the year and turn in uniforms.
All other spring sports have ended, please get uniforms to coach or to the main office ASAP.
Yearbooks will be available for purchase after the yearbook assembly Wednesday afternoon. The new price is $28.
All library books still out are overdue! There are currently 133 books checked out from the library, and 121 of those are overdue. Please return all your library books as soon as possible, or Ms. Gartley will come looking for you. Stop by the library for more information about checking books out for the summer or to find free used and new books.
Students, are you interested in taking part of your final assembly? If you would like to be a part of the welcome, speak to the PE Fitness awards or thank everyone for coming at the end, please stop by the main office to sign up!

Just a reminder of some of the basic school rules--Please be Polite, Prompt, Productive, Prepared and Positive, and please no hats, no hoods, no phones. iPads should be used as directed by teachers. It is great to have you back! Want to head somewhere during period 7? Students must provide a pass to their teacher before heading out of their workshop classroom. Thank you!
