A big thank you to JMG and the entire Mahoney Community for the generosity demonstrated during last week’s Stuff-A-Bus event. Our new Stuff-A-Bus champions are our 7th graders! They collected 710 items and leading the victory charge was Mrs. Raymond’s homeroom with 126 items. Congratulations 7th graders and as Mr. Nee would say, it’s time to bring the cup back home!
As a whole school we collected 1,630 items and donated another $250 to Preble Street, who are the real winners today! Thank you so much MAhoney students and staff-you are awesome!
The Drama Club will be having rehearsals every day from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting November 28.
Parents don't forget it's not too late to order your wreaths and poinsettias. Sale goes through next Tuesday. Also, feel free to ask any local businesses if they would like to order for the holidays. Many of our local banks, credit unions, offices, restaurants, and cafes like to support our Music Boosters and PTA while at the same time receiving festive winter products. There will be movie gift card baskets for the student who sells the most in each grade.
The past couple of years the PTA have asked students to sell Yankee Candle items in order to raise money. This year we have decided to do a 'No Frills' fundraiser. Many of you may be familiar with this idea. Instead of asking families to buy and sell items, we are looking for families to simply make a donation. Please click here for the details. As with any fundraiser, we thank you very much for your support!
