Reminder to Students who walk to and from school. We are fortunate to have a crossing guard on most days in order to help you cross our busy intersection safely and to help you to follow the pedestrian laws designed to keep you safe. We had a few scary near misses on Friday afternoon, with students crossing Broadway unsafely in front of cars. Please, please, please be careful when crossing busy city streets by our school.
The Library will be closed today
Composting Update!
The week before winter break we averaged about 74 pounds of garbage created during lunch in the cafeteria. Last Tuesday through Friday we averaged less than 14 pounds of garbage created during lunch in the cafeteria per day. That’s about 60 pounds of waste that is being composted or recycled each day. Let’s keep it up this week!
