High School Football:
There is an informational meeting Monday, June 17, after school in room 110 for any 8th grader interested in playing football next year.
Field Hockey - coach Millington will be there at the end of the day to hand out information on summer Field HOckey offerings!

Students, it’s time to bring your instruments home for the summer. All instruments MUST be home by today. Some students have left their instruments in room 201. Please get them!
Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Mahoney's Environmental Club is called the Green Team, we meet on Tuesday afternoons, right after school in room 108, Mrs. Pitt's room.

All library books still out are overdue! There are still 115 books checked out from the library. Please return all your library books as soon as possible, or Ms. Gartley will come looking for you. Stop by the library for more information about checking books out for the summer or to find free used and new books.
Welcome back! Just a reminder of some of the basic school rules--Please be Polite, Prompt, Productive, Prepared and Positive, and please no hats, no hoods, no phones. iPads should be used as directed by teachers. It is great to have you back! Want to head somewhere during period 7? Students must provide a pass to their teacher before heading out of their workshop classroom. Thank you!
