Student Morning Announcements: Monday, February 4, Day 2
The Mahoney water bottles are going fast! Be sure to get an order in soon!
7th and 8th graders will meet with SOPO Unite representatives during workshop today. Connections teachers please let your groups know where to meet at 2:05.
Students, please check out the lost and found outside the Main office. There are water bottles, sports bags and many jackets. Everything will be donated to Goodwill over February break.
Thank you to everyone for being flexible and understanding as we ran the pilot schedule last week. Mahoney’s Leadership Team is looking for your feedback! Today you will be asked to answer a few questions about the pilot schedule. Let us know what you think!
Homework Club runs today and will run from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.
Students do you have a short story or a question for the Mahoney Weekly Raider Newspaper? Drop it off in the main office.
Students, please be reminded that bags and iPads should not be brought into the cafe at breakfast or lunch. Also, all food and drink, other than water, needs to be finish and disposed of prior to heading to class.
Sports Notes:
Indoor Track and Swimming Sign-ups are outside the main office - practices will start next week. Monday for Track and Wednesday for Swimming.
There will be an Indoor Track meeting Thursday, after school in room 110 for anyone interested.
Music:
The instrument repair man will be here TODAY at 1:00 p.m.
Performance Jazz will rehearse Tuesday and Friday.
7 and 8 Honors Band will rehearse today after school. Please bring your honors music to class with you each day this week.
Beginner Band will rehearse Tuesday after school.
6th Honors band members: please bring your honors music to school every day.
Training Jazz will rehearse Thursday morning.
