South Portland High School Musical opened this weekend! Pippin will run for the next weekend, as well. Tickets can be purchased online or at the high school. Don’t miss this great show!
And we are all able to get a sneak peak at the show this morning in our auditorium beginning at 8:15. You will be called down to the auditorium.
Make ups for the MEAs will continue this afternoon. Students who need to make up the 2nd Reading session should report to room 110 after lunch. Thank you in advance to 6th graders and others who will travel in this hallway quietly during the afternoon.

SPORTS
The Mahoney Indoor track team had a strong showing at Saturday's Festival Meet in Portland. Despite being the smallest school in the league the girls came in third place overall and were led by double event winner Eva Tedford and second place finishers Kate von Seggern, Meghan Perry, Evelyn Selser and Izzy Chase. The girls also had number of other people post personal best times and throws. For the boys Joey Perron won the 440 race and the senior boys relay team of Paulos Zeleke, Max Jones, Jacob Dresser and Liam Piper pulled off a gritty come from behind effort to win their heat and third overall in the relays. There will be an end of season celebration this Wednesday immediately after school for all team members.
Coaches Meetings for Spring Sports will be held this week and the schedule is as follows:
Monday after school Lacrosse Meetings in the Gym.
Tuesday after school Baseball, Softball, and Outdoor Track in the gym!
Lacrosse, Baseball, and Softball Practices will begin Wednesday April 6th, weather permitting.
Outdoor Track will begin practicing Monday April 11th.
Student Council is sponsoring a school dance this Friday from 6-8. The theme is Spring Fling and it should be lots of fun. Students, please remember that if you choose to come to the dance you must stay until the end of the dance unless an administrator hears from a parent.
