Mahoney, we value reading and love to see all staff and students reading during SSR! Are you struggling to find a book that you enjoy reading? Are you looking for something new?
Would you like Ms. Blakemore to hand select a bag of books just for you? Fill out a simple form and she will curate 5-7 books for you to check out. Read the ones you want. Return the ones you don't. You can get the form from your Humanities teacher, in the main office, or in the library
Students, when you arrive on school grounds after 8:10, please come right into the building. Thank you!
Today is a 7th grade band day--see you all then! Jazz music will be available for pick up this week in Room 203. Listen for announcements for the first rehearsal day!
Stay tuned for more information as to when clubs will start from each advisor.
Students can sign up for more than one and then see how it can work!
Math Club will meet today after school in Room 11. Come check it out even if you have not already signed up.
The 1st Outdoor Club meeting will be on Tues, 9/28. Meet in RM 12 and please have a helmet and your bike with you at school.
The Civil Rights team will have its first meeting today right after school in room 221.
The Yearbook Club will have its first meeting on Tuesday, right after school, in room 122.
Student Council will meet on Wednesday in room 213 at 7:45am

The Outdoor Club will meet tomorrow after school in room 12. You will be heading out to the back parking lot for a bike safety session. Please have your bike and bike helmet, if possible. Questions? Ask Ms. Brown!
Students, have you checked your email lately? Please make sure you know how to access your school email, that you do check it daily--you never know what you might find!
Everyone, this is a reminder about the importance of keeping your mask on, over your mouth and nose while in the building.
You need to be in your Connections room no later than 8:30. We had too many students coming in late this morning. Leave you home 5 minutes sooner and you will be all set!
Sports:
There will be a tennis match vs Cape Elizabeth on Monday Sept 27th at 4:00pm @ SPHS tennis courts
Due to the construction going on by the SP golf course. Our home Cross country meet on Wednesday 9/29 will be at Wainwright sports complex. 3:45 pm start
Soccer players please do not wear cleats inside the building.
Practices are on as scheduled this afternoon.
