It’s our first snow of the year! Please know that snowballs should not be thrown on school grounds. Head home or over to Mill Creek park if you want to have some fun in the snow.
Also, please remember that we are located on a busy intersection. Please follow the crossing signs and cross the street safely.
We all head outside as long as it’s not rainy, too muddy or too cold. We determine this by the ‘feels like’ temperature. As of right now, it looks like we can all go outside, however it will be cold! Be sure to have your coats, hats and gloves! If this changes, an announcement will go out to staff prior to 11:00.
This week is our 6-8 band concert. This Wednesday our Mahoney bands will perform in the South Portland High School auditorium beginning at 7:00. Students, with their families, are invited to attend.
Math Club meets this afternoon in Room 11 from 2:45 to 3:45. Come join us while we learn new strategies to solve challenging math problems for our second math meet at the end of January.
