The 8th grade is in need of chaperones and food for the first dance of the year!
Friday, Sept. 16 6-8 p.m. (parents arrive about 5:55, snack table volunteers around 5:55)
Need chaperones for the dance, people to man the snack table, and people to provide snacks, drinks, cups, and napkins.
Parents from all grade levels welcomed!

Students, our first dance of the year will be held on Friday September 16, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the gym. We hope to see everyone there for this fun event!

Music:
*Any Performance or Spring Jazz member from last year is invited to a reading session of new music on Tuesday, September 13th at the usual "jazz time"--please arrive by 7 a.m. and we play at 7:15 in the auditorium! This is not part of an audition. See you tomorrow!
*Beginner Band starts TODAY in room 201 immediately after school. This is for several of you who have made arrangements to come try or start musical instruments. If you are interested and haven’t seen Mrs. Barry yet, please do!
*The South Portland High School Marching Band will host the first show of the season this Saturday, September 17th, at the HS. The show starts at 6 p.m. and all are invited. All band members, please remember we are asking for donated baked goods in support of the music program. Thanks!
