Performance Jazz thanks you for an outstanding effort yesterday at the Senior Narratives assembly. It’s been a wonderful year and your hard work is very much appreciated. Mrs. Barry is very proud of your progress and grateful for your membership in the groups. Rehearsals are now officially over. It’s also time sign up for the Jazz Pizza Party! You must see Mrs. Barry by today if you are interested.
Today is the last day to sign up for the award-winning SPHS Marching Band! Come see Mrs. Barry for more information in Room 201.
The instrument repair man will be here for the last time this year on Monday.
Students, it’s time to check out instruments or return them for the summer! Also please start planning to bring your instruments home for the summer.
Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Green Team:
Mahoney's Environmental Club is called the Green Team, we meet on Tuesday afternoons, right after school in room 108, Mrs. Pitt's room.

All library books are due TODAY. There are currently 174 books checked out from the library, and 131 of those are overdue. Please return all your library books this week.
Students, are you interested in taking part of your final assembly? If you would like to be a part of the welcome, speak to the PE Fitness awards or thank everyone for coming at the end, please stop by the main office to sign up!
Welcome back! Just a reminder of some of the basic school rules--Please be Polite, Prompt, Productive, Prepared and Positive, and please no hats, no hoods, no phones. iPads should be used as directed by teachers. It is great to have you back! Want to head somewhere during period 7? Students must provide a pass to their teacher before heading out of their workshop classroom. Thank you!
