PARENT NOTES:
The past couple of years the PTA have asked students to sell Yankee Candle items in order to raise money. This year we have decided to do a 'No Frills' fundraiser. Many of you may be familiar with this idea. Instead of asking families to buy and sell items, we are looking for families to simply make a donation. Please click here for the details. As with any fundraiser, we thank you very much for your support!
Basketball season is underway, here is the practice schedule:
2:30-3:45 7th Boys
3:45-5:00 7th Girls
5:00-6:15 8th Girls

R.O.L.E. (Rippleffect Outdoor Leadership Education) - The ROLE program is offered to 7th and 8th grade students from Maine middle schools and is designed to develop leadership, confidence, awareness and interpersonal skills through outdoor adventure programming. The ROLE program consists of 4, 2.5 hour after-school sessions, a long weekend to Cow Island and a culminating graduation ceremony. Registrations are being taken for the Winter and Spring sessions. For more information please have your student pick up a packet in the main office or click here.
Homework Club runs from 2:30-3:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school to get help from staff members. Each day there are 2 adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 7:50. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.
The chill in the air inside is an indication that cold weather is here. Please remember that students are expected to stay outside until the 7:35 bell rings. They should dress warmly or plan to arrive after 7:35.
Would you like to set up a lunch account for your student? Does your student need more money on his/her account? Head to myschoolbucks.com to take care of this!
