Today is Picture Day! All students please plan to have your photo taken even if you do not want to buy any pictures. We need these for the yearbook.
Club Info:
Math Club is for anyone who enjoys math and wants to learn new strategies and improve and/or challenge their math skills. We meet every Monday and Wednesday in room 11.
Today is the last day to sign up for the after school crafting with Mrs. Lyons. Crafting will include Holiday earrings, scrunchies and adorable dog bows. All are welcome- make sure to sign up by the office and join her google classroom!
DAILY:
Mahoney’s lost and found is located right outside the main office right next to the water fountain. There are a bunch of items both on top of and inside the red Mahoney box, if you’re missing something, check it out!
Students, when you arrive on school grounds after 8:10, please come right into the building. Thank you!
Students, charge your iPads each evening so they are ready for the day.
Students, have you checked your email lately? Please make sure you know how to access your school email, that you do check it daily--you never know what you might find!
Everyone, this is a reminder about the importance of keeping your mask on, over your mouth and nose while in the building.
You need to be in your Connections room no later than 8:30. We have had too many students coming in late. For many of you, leaving your home 10 minutes earlier and you will be all set!
Music:
Jazz Band continues this week--see Mrs. Barry for music and info. We practice Tuesday for 6th and 7th grade and Thursday for 8th grade, starting at 7:45!
Sports:
The girls soccer team defeated Memorial yesterday 3 to 0. Josie McAleney opened the scoring with a goal assisted by Caleigh Cocoran followed by a goal by Maci Rauscher assisted by Charlotte Alfrey. Caliegh Cocoran finished it off with an unassisted goal. Amelia BurtonFowler recorded another shutout in goal with 11 saves. The team would like to thank the many teachers and staff that came out to cheer them to victory.
8th grade boys soccer won 2-0 yesterday. Jonah Cooke scored twice with Gabe Babineaju assisting on both. Ansel Eppich was outstanding in goal, leading a strong team defensive effort.
Even though it feels early, basketball signups are outside the main office. Basketball is offered for 7th and 8th graders and practices begin Monday, November 8th.
