MUSIC:
8th Grade Band members; we need your parents to be chaperones for Peak’s Island! Thanks!
The second combined marching practice is Monday. Band members come prepared to hit the field!
7th band members going to Peak’s there will be a rehearsal Monday after school for your music.
The instrument repair man is here Monday at 1:00 p.m.
Beginner Band/Sousa Party will meet Tuesday after school next week.
Color guard will practice Wednesday after school and Thursday morning next week.
Sports Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.5 HOW score, have an up to date physical on file and have signed up electronically through RankOne sports management. The website can be found here (https://southportland.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx).
Brown Elementary has asked us to remind students to not come on school grounds as they leave Mahoney in the afternoon. There is a lot of activity as the elementary students are dismissed and the adults are helping the younger students hop on the right bus or make their way to their parents. Thank you for reinforcing this with your student.
Homework Club runs from 3:00-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Homework club is an opportunity for students to stay after school and complete homework or study in a quiet and safe setting.. Each day there will be at least one adult to supervise and support students. Please note that only students who plan on using this time productively are welcome.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

Mahoney's Environmental Club is called the Green Team, we meet on Tuesday afternoons, right after school in room 108, Mrs. Pitt's room.

- Outdoor Track - Practices start 4/8 @ Mahoney from 3:00-4:15.
