Good morning. This morning in your Connections groups all students are being asked to complete 2 surveys. The links to the surveys can be found on the Mahoney Website. All students are asked to go to Mahoney.spsd.org and click on the link. You will be asked to type in your 9 digit state ID number. If you need it, please ask your teacher. Thank you for taking the time to answer each question thoughtfully. All students in our district are taking this survey. It would not take longer than 15-20 minutes.
PHONES: Just a reminder that phones should be off and stored away during the school day. The school day begins when you come into Mahoney and ends at 2:45.
Students please remove your Earbuds/Earpods while in school/in the hallways and classrooms. If a teacher gives you permission to use these in a classroom, please remove them when the class is over.
Club Info:
Homework Club is offered on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week from 3-4. This is a great place to head after school to get some work done in a quiet place with a helpful adult.
Swing by the library before connections to see all the earrings and keychains for sale. Since the school store is closed Mrs. Blakemore has them available for you in the library.
DAILY: Mahoney’s lost and found is located right outside the main office right next to the water fountain. There are a bunch of items both on top of and inside the red Mahoney box, if you’re missing something, check it out!
Students, charge your iPads each evening so they are ready for the day.
Students, have you checked your email lately? Please make sure you know how to access your school email, that you do check it daily--you never know what you might find!
Music:
There are no band rehearsals today or Monday. Tuesday is a 7th grade band day.
All band students–please begin the process of finding and returning all borrowed materials to Mrs. Barry. If you need materials for the summer they must be signed out. Please also clean out your band lockers.
Jazz Band has finished all rehearsals for the year, so sleep in Tuesday but get to school on time!
6th and 7th graders–interested in playing in a kickball tournament next week? Put together a 10 person, grade level team and give it to Mrs. Stilphen. Only 10 people can be on your team and you can only be on one team. We need several teams in each grade level in order to have a tournament! See Mrs. Stilphen with any questions.
Library: Students are invited to check out two books from the library for summer reading. You must return all of your books to the library first. Sixth and seventh graders can return the books here in the fall. 8th graders can bring them to the high school library.

Also for 8th graders - if you are planning on attending the Social on Saturday, please return signed paperwork directly to the office before Thursday! You cannot attend the social without a returned parent permission form.
Sports: As Spring sports are ending please bring your uniforms directly to the main office.
