PARENT NOTES:
SOPO UNITE: There will be a SOPO Unite student meeting Thursday 1/23 during workshop. All 7th and 8th graders are welcome to attend!
Tonight’s Sports:
Indoor track and swimming sign ups are under way; practices will start February 10th!
Second Winter Season:
All semester course scores will be final at the end of the semester. Students need to make sure that they are talking with their teachers and making sure they have their assignments completed. If there are absences or other issues that would allow for an extension, this would be determined by the teacher and student PRIOR to the close of the semester. When in doubt, it is always a good idea to ask the teacher! Our semester will end January 24.

The cafeteria is open for breakfast everyday until 8:25. Please know that only those that are eating breakfast should be in the cafeteria at this time.

There is a lot going on right now--please check your Google Classroom group and talk with Mrs. Barry. Rehearsals are important and tricky to schedule! And regular individual practice is the secret to progress!
Performance Jazz members, your completed event planner forms are due right away!
This week: Performance Jazz will rehearse Friday after school only; no a.m. rehearsal. INSTEAD...
Friday morning this week, Honors Jazz auditionees will practice. Auditions are due by the end of next week. Mrs. Barry has printed audition materials for all who need it.
8th Grade Band members are reminded of important information about our conductor’s visit next week on your Google Classroom group.

Just a reminder, cell phones should be turned off and either in your locker for the entire day! Earbuds, smart watches.

Things to remember regarding Basketball:
- To continue to be eligible for athletics students need to maintain a 2.5 HOW average in all three HOW categories. Mr. Ouellet runs reports on Monday mornings; students and parents will be contacted if there is a concern of eligibility.
